Green Apple Juice

Blueprint Green – A green apple juice.

Really fresh type of a juice, the green elements makes it feel like a salad juice, very good as a morning juice. the tricky thing with preparing this juice is that most home juicer are not that great with leafy products, so try to mix them with the more solid ingredients.

Crush it!

If you want to juice this juice as apart of your cleanse routine, and specially if you are following the blueprint cleanse program, you’ll most likely find that this juice is a bit different from the rest of the juices you’ll drink. It’s a green juice, which means that it’s main resources are green ingredients such as kale, parsley, lettuce and spinach. I love green juices though for many years I been straggling to get them right since I was using a centrifugal juicer, recently I discovered that it is much easier and better to make green juices which contain leafy produce in a masticating juicer like the breville juice fountain crush or the green star elite, the difference is that instead of the leafy produce being pushed aside, the masticating juicer is designed specially to deal with small and leafy produce, it chew – masticate the ingredients, so the result yield more than double the juice and with almost no pulp.

Nutrition Benefits:

Kale known to be powerful antioxidant / anti-inflammatory and very high on vitamin K, C and rich in calcium.  Apples may reduce the risk of colon cancer, prostate cancer and lung cancer.
